Frigopoint has begun production of condensing pressure regulators for air conditioning systems FP-ECPR-2.
The FP-ECPR-2 regulator is designed to maintain a certain level of condensation pressure in split air conditioning systems.
The FP-ECPR-2 regulator is a unit with a set of wires for connection to the outdoor unit of the air conditioner. The control is carried out by the temperature sensor supplied in the kit. The length of the temperature sensor cable is 1 m. There is a green LED indicator on the side panel of the unit, which indicates the operation of the controller.
The FP-ECPR-2 regulator is designed to maintain a certain level of condensation pressure in split air conditioning systems. It is mainly used in split systems that operate in a wide range of outdoor temperatures.
The regulator has the following characteristics:

The principle of operation of the regulator. At a condensing temperature of +40 φС and above, the controller output has a maximum value and the fan motor rotates at maximum speed. As the condensation temperature drops within the range from +40 C to +30 C, the controller reduces the engine speed to the minimum value (~ 25%) in a linear relationship. With a further decrease in the condensation temperature in the range from +30 C to +27 C, the engine speed remains minimal. When the condensation temperature reaches a value less than +27 φС, the engine is switched off. Further, during the growth of the condensing temperature, the fan motor is switched on at a temperature of +30 φС (hysteresis loop). At the moment the fan is started, the regulator applies maximum voltage to the motor for 3 seconds (so-called "catch") to facilitate the start of the fan, which can be difficult due to wind-induced fan reverse spin and thickened grease in winter.
At the moment, the regulator has passed R & D, the plant has begun mass production.

If there is voltage on the black wire of the regulator connected to the 4-way valve circuit of the air conditioner (i.e. the air conditioner is operating in the "heat" mode), the regulator always supplies the maximum voltage to the fan motor, regardless of the condensing temperature.
