FP: 500 hours in salt spray. The results of the tests of a new anti-corrosion coatings FP-RV
28.05.2018.The Russian plant of refrigeration equipment components Frigopoint has finished testing a new anti-corrosion coating of FP-RV rotalok valves.
Tests were carried out 03.05-24.05 in research lab Belgorod University.
The valves were successfully tested for 500 hours in salt fog, there were no signs of corrosion on the valve body.
The results can be found below:
Frigopoint company plans to replace the valves with copper coating on new valves with anti-corrosion coating during 2018, the full transition is planned by the beginning of 2019.
The name will remain unchanged FP-RV, type of coating at the gate check with the Manager.
