Question
Question: Will the FP-PT-10A go into cutoff (output signal 0 mA) when the nominal pressure is exceeded (over 10 bar)?

Answer: No, outside the measurement range, the output signal of the FP-PT-10A/B (W) pressure sensor will increase proportionally to 24 mA (at a pressure above 10 bar). There will be no cutoff.

It should be noted separately that at a pressure above 15 bar, the sensor calibration may be disrupted, the destruction pressure for the FP-PT-10 sensor is 25 bar, in the case of pressure testing of the system with a pressure above 15 bar, it is necessary to install shut-off valves in order to cut off the pressure sensor during pressure testing of the system.
