In September 2025, the Russian Frigopoint refrigeration Components plant commissioned an automatic complex for mechanical surface preparation of bottoms, shells and other components. The complex is a fully automatic conveyor line for the mechanical cleaning of internal and external surfaces from contaminants, including rust, scale and preservative compounds accompanying rolled metal products during production and transportation from steel mills.

Summing up the interim results of the implementation, it can already be stated that as a result of the additional surface cleaning from contamination, the productivity of welding operations increased by at least 7%.
But the main result is expected when using FP vessels in the refrigeration circuit. As a result of additional cleaning of the inner surface, the amount of contour contamination will significantly decrease, which will have a significant positive effect on increasing the service life of the equipment as a whole.
This complex is currently the most advanced in the industry, which gives an additional competitive advantage to Frigopoint pressure vessels.
